| Murderer from Washoe County dies behind bars in Ely |

ELY, Nev. (KOLO) - A man serving time in prison for a 2013 killing has died behind bars. The Nevada Department of Corrections reports 38-year-old Joe Scott died January 10, 2017 at Ely State Prison in Ely. Scott was housed alone and found unresponsive in his cell, and pronounced dead shortly thereafter. An autopsy has been scheduled. Read More. |
