TUMWATER — Governor Jay Inslee has announced Jody Becker-Green as the acting secretary of the state’s Department of Corrections. She succeeds Dick Morgan, a Walla Walla City Council member and former DOC administrator who agreed to return to the department temporarily in May 2016 as acting director. “It is with deep appreciation that I thank Dick Morgan for his willingness to rejoin DOC and serve as interim secretary during a crucial time for the agency,” Inslee was quoted in a DOC news release.
