NEWARK -- State prosecutors have asked a judge to keep nine alleged members of a violent city street gang, arrested during State Police raids last week, jailed pending trial. Twelve alleged members of the "Red Breed Gorillas" have already made their initial appearances in state Superior Court, according to Peter Aseltine, a spokesperson for the state Office of Attorney General.
