| Milwaukee County House of Correction graduates new jailor class, works to combat staffing shortage |

FRANKLIN -- Milwaukee County officials are doing their best to stay ahead of a staffing concern affecting correctional facilities nationwide. In an effort to add more staff to the workforce, the County's House of Correction graduated 21 recruits Monday after four weeks of training. The group is made up of correctional recruits from Waukesha County and Milwaukee County. "She is someone that has always cared about the community that she's lived in," Margaret Bailey Stewart said.
