Jonathan Zarate recently appealed a hearing officer's ruling sanctioning him 15 days' detention, with credit for time served, 180 days' administrative segregation, and 180 days' loss of commutation time for punching a corrections officer in the chest on March 18, 2015, according to an appellate ruling published on Monday.
