The Oklahoma County Sheriff's office reported a death over the weekend at the Oklahoma County jail. Ricky Earl Windle, 53, was found dead in a cell where he was jailed by himself on Saturday, the sheriff's office reports. Windle was in jail on a felony charge of failing to register as a sex offender, according to the Oklahoma Supreme Court Network website. Jailers could not revive Windle. Windle was taken to the hospital where he died early Sunday morning. Read More. |
