| 3 guards hurt by inmate in assault at Central Prison, state officials report |

Three correction officers at Central Prison and a prison inmate were hurt Monday night when the inmate assaulted them, the state Department of Public Safety said. Initial reports from officials said, “Two employees and one inmate were treated by prison medical staff, then transported to local hospitals for care."
