| Corrections officer pleads guilty in party with inmates |

A second Hamilton County, Ohio, sheriff's corrections officer pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges associated with a party with inmates in a county jail last year. Jerry Lunsford, 34, pleaded guilty in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court to charges of illegally taking drugs into a jail, obstructing official business, unlawful restraint, assault and dereliction of duty in the August 2002 incident. Lunsford, a Hamilton County corrections officer assigned to Talbert House, resigned in June. He faces up to two years in prison. Lloyd Fawley, 28, the other officer, was sentenced to two years in prison after he was convicted Aug. 8 of of sexual battery, illegally taking drugs into a jail, dereliction of duty and sexual imposition. |
