MERIDIAN, Miss. (AP) — Another shakedown at East Mississippi Correctional Facility has turned up cell phones, shanks, drugs and other contraband. Media outlets report that the search took place Friday. Mississippi Department of Corrections officials say other items that were found include wooden bats, a radio transmitter and bags of crystal methamphetamine. One inmate was found with 400 packages of Ramen noodles in his cell. Read More. |
