Three inmates at the Swanson Correctional Center, a prison for youths in Monroe, La., were booked in the attack of a female officer.
The attack is alleged to have happened about 9 p.m. Friday.
Monroe police booked Terry Green, 18, and Deangelo Thomas, 17, into the Ouachita Correctional Center on charges of battery of a correctional officer. Samuel Raines, 17, is facing an assault charge.
The 24-year-old officer said a group of six or seven inmates surrounded her when she entered a dormitory. Green and Thomas allegedly tried to knock her down. Raines was making a fist and acting like he was going to hit her, according to the arrest affidavit.
