A state prison inmate walked away from a Rapid City work center Monday, and authorities want help finding him. Robert Running Shield, 51, left the Rapid City Community Work Center Monday evening, according to the Department of Corrections. He is described as a 6-foot-1-inch Native American male, weighing about 170 pounds. He has partially gray hair and brown eyes. Running Shield is serving four years for possession of a controlled substance out of Minnehaha County and additional concurrent sentences for possession and failure to appear in court. Read More. |
