IONIA COUNTY – A prisoner at Ionia Correctional Facility will serve additional time for assaulting a prison employee and aggravated indecent exposure. Dustin Woodruff, 29, was sentenced Tuesday in Ionia County 8th Circuit Court by Judge Ronald Schafer to serve 24 months to five years for the assault and 16 months to two years for the indecent exposure charge. The two sentences will be served concurrently but consecutively to any other sentences he is currently serving, said Schafer. Ionia County Prosecutor Kyle Butler told the court his office's plea offer was at the middle of the guidelines rather than at the low end, which was "a departure from what my office usually does."
