An Oregon State Penitentiary inmate was found dead in his cell early Monday morning, according to officials. Louis Darnell Walls, 51, was found unresponsive in his cell around 12:20 a.m, according to the Oregon Department of Corrections. Medical staff attempted life-saving efforts, but Walls was pronounced dead at 12:55 a.m. The Oregon Department of Corrections said Walls died of apparent natural causes. Read More. |
