Georgetown – On Thursday April 13 Matthew Davis of Bridgeville walked away from prison and is now wanted by the Department of Corrections (DOC), according to DOC Spokeswoman Kate Weber. Weber tells First State Update that Davis absconded from the Sussex Community Corrections Center (SCCC) in Georgetown after he willfully failed to return from an approved community service pass to , . While there Davis allegedly stole a vehicle from Delmarva Clergy, which is located on South Old State Road in Ellendale, according to Weber.
