| Police Search for Inmate Who Left Maryland Hospital |

COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) — Police are searching for a minimum-security inmate who walked away from a hospital where he was being treated. Howard County Police said in a statement that 52-year-old Timothy Powers left Howard County General Hospital in Columbia on Thursday night. Police say Powers, who was receiving treatment at the hospital, was last seen wearing a burgundy sweater and jeans. Officers searched around the hospital and past known addresses for Powers, but have not found him. Police don't believe he had immediate access to a vehicle. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
