| 77-year-old inmate dies in Nebraska State Penitentiary |

A 77-year-old Nebraska prison inmate who had a long-term medical condition died late last month, authorities said. Rapist Larry Holladay had been held in a nursing facility at the State Penitentiary in Lincoln. The Department of Correctional Services released neither the cause of Holladay’s death on April 27 nor the medical condition. A grand jury will conduct an investigation, as it does whenever a person dies in custody in Nebraska. Read More. |
