NORMAN — An Oklahoma prison inmate was charged Wednesday with killing his cellmate. According to a probable cause affidavit, Lexington Correctional Center security staff found Erick Shane Kitchell, 44, on Jan. 2, lying unresponsive in his cell. Kitchell was transported to Norman Regional Hospital, where he was admitted, suffering from severe brain swelling. He died Jan. 5. Read More. |
