| Teens escape juvenile home, lead cops on three-county chase |

Two teenagers are back in custody after allegedly escaping, stealing a car and leading authorities on a chase through three counties. Police say it started Sunday night when a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old escaped from Starr Commonwealth in Battle Creek and stole a car. The pair led police on a chase through Calhoun, Jackson and Ingham counties. The chase ended at US-127 near Holt Road. The teens will go through the juvenile court system and their placement will be re-evaluated. |
