| Inmate stabbed to death, another is wounded |

One prisoner was stabbed to death Tuesday and another treated for stab wounds at Kent maximum security prison in Agassiz, east of Vancouver, Canada. Corrections officials said they have a suspect in the attacks, but were still searching for the weapon. The prison has been locked down. The slain prisoner was a 34-year-old serving a four-year sentence for armed robbery. It was the second stabbing incident at the 253-inmate Kent prison in less than a week. On April 6, a prisoner was stabbed and left in critical condition. |
