YORK, S.C. (AP) - Authorities say a South Carolina county detention center inmate faces additional charges after spitting in an officer’s face and threatening an officer after an altercation. The Herald reports (http://bit.ly/2qFv9dg ) that 39-year-old Kenneth Huffstetler was being held at the York County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond. A report from the York County Sheriff’s Office says when Huffstetler was given medication and a pen to sign for the medicine on May 27, he held the pen against his neck and threatened to kill himself.
