| 1 in custody, search continues for 2 escapees |

RIVERTON — One of three escapees from Booneville, Mississippi, who led authorities on a chase in northwest Alabama early Thursday morning is in custody, and the search for the other two continues, officials said. Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar confirmed that Mark Lindsey, who escaped from Prentiss County Jail early Thursday morning, is back in custody and was taken to the Colbert County Jail. Officers from a variety of state, local and federal agencies in Alabama and Mississippi continue to monitor and search an area around Riverton Rose Trail near the Eagle Point community. Tolar said the three men — David Glasco, 38, of Ashland, Mississippi; John Brown, 40, of Rienzi, Mississippi; and Lindsey, 53, of Booneville, Mississippi — escaped from the county jail in Booneville around 1 a.m. Thursday.
