BRANTFORD — Police have found an inmate who ran away from special constables at the city jail with a piece of leg iron still in his pocket.

Police found David Goyit on Wednesday evening in a Ninth Avenue address, where he was arrested without incident.

Another inmate had started a fight with a special constable, allowing Goyit, 33, a chance to escape Monday at about 9:40 a.m.
