BRANTFORD — Police have found an inmate who ran away from special constables at the city jail with a piece of leg iron still in his pocket. Police found David Goyit on Wednesday evening in a Ninth Avenue address, where he was arrested without incident. Inside one of his pockets was a small piece of the leg iron he was wearing around his ankles when he ran away outside the Brantford jail from the special constables who were transporting him, police said.
