| Judge dimisses inmate's religious freedom lawsuit |

A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit filed by a former Lackawanna County prison inmate who alleged the prison violated his right to religious freedom. Gregory Bush filed suit in 2014, alleging officials refused to provide Muslim religious services when he was incarcerated there in 2012. In a motion to dismiss, Michael Donohue, attorney for the prison, argued the prison did provide Muslim services, but Bush declined to attend them because the cleric was not affiliated with the Nation of Islam.
