COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (KKCO/KJCT)-- The Colorado Department of Corrections is asking for the public's help in finding an escaped parolee who is classified as a sexually violent predator. Officials say Robert Jake Chavez cut off his ankle monitor and fled parole supervision Monday. He's described as a white/Hispanic male, who is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 260 pounds.
