One of the two inmates accused of attacking a fellow detainee in prison, leaving him tied up and barely breathing, pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and aggravated assault Wednesday. Jeremiah Isezaki, 32, appeared before Magistrate Judge Alberto Tolentino Wednesday, where he answered to the charges against him and waived his right to a speedy trial. The court appointed attorney Terrence Timblin to represent Isezaki, and he entered his plea. Isezaki’s family also contacted attorney F. Randall Cunliffe, hoping to retain him as Isezaki’s lawyer, Cunliffe said. Read More. |
