LINCOLN – Thirteen inmates at the Tecumseh State Correctional Institution were the first within the Nebraska Department of Corrections to graduate the faith-based Alpha series. Alpha network director Jodi Meyer said the program provides an informal setting for people to discuss the big questions of life. Meyer: “Anyone from any background is welcome. We present the basics of the Christian faith in a way that people can explore these things themselves.” Six days after the Tecumseh Alpha graduation, 14 participants at the Omaha Correctional Center graduated.
