| Man who killed Alabama game warden during 2002 drug raid denied parole |

A 57-year-old man who shot and killed an Alabama game warden 15 years ago will remain behind bars. The Alabama Board of Pardons and Parole denied release for David Ray Mosher on Wednesday. Mosher pleaded guilty in 2003 to the slaying of 35-year-old Jimmy Dean Hutto during a drug raid at a Fayette County home. The shooting happened March 8, 2002 when Hutto, a father, volunteered to help the Fayette Drug Task Force and Fayette County deputies serving the narcotics search warrant. Hutto, an officer with the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, was shot in the hip when he and other lawmen entered the home. Read More. |
