| SCDC: Escaped inmate apprehended in Texas |

A convicted felon who escaped a maximum-security prison in Dorchester County Wednesday has been apprehended in Texas, according to the South Carolina Department of Corrections. The agency posted the news to its Twitter account Friday morning stating Jimmy Causey, 46, had been located around 3:05 a.m. by Texas Department of Public Safety. The Department of Corrections issued a "wanted" flyer on Causey around 1:55 p.m. on Wednesday. Dorchester County Sheriff's Office assisted in the search locally. Read More. |
