| SCI Waymart shows off mental health services |

CANAAN TOWNSHIP, WAYNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) - Six months after escaping closure, the state prison in Waymart opened its doors to the media Monday. Administrators in Wayne County wanted to highlight its mental health services. They believe their programs set their facility apart from others. "We want to show what type of mental health treatment we have here at Waymart and how we took it up a notch over the years," SCI Waymart superintendent Jack Sommers said.
