| Inmate charged with murder in stabbing death at Elmore County facility |

ELMORE, Ala. (WEAR) — A 47-year-old inmate was stabbed to death at the Elmore Correctional Facility on Tuesday, according to the Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC). In a news release to the media, the ADOC reports a corrections lieutenant saw an inmate, Timothy Robertson, in distress on the prison yard around 6:35 p.m. Responding officers found he had multiple stab wounds.
