Auburn Correctional Facility is on lockdown following an incident between inmates in the prison's yard on Thursday, according to the state Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. DOCCS is conducting an overall frisk of the premises at 135 State St., and it was not clear Monday when the lockdown would end. "Auburn Correctional Facility has been locked down to allow staff to investigate an incident between inmates," said DOCCS spokesperson Thomas Mailey.
