| Inmate stabbed at Maryland prison |

Maryland prison officials said a 30-year-old inmate was seriously injured when he was stabbed Tuesday at the Maryland House of Correction in Jessup. The inmate is serving a life sentence for murder. His name has not been released. Officials said he was stabbed in the back about 1:15 p.m. and was flown to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. There is no word on his condition. Authorities have not identified a suspect and haven't found the weapon. |
