A Riverside County sheriff’s deputy and an inmate were hospitalized with minor injuries Thursday night, Aug. 3, when a sheriff’s transport van collided with another vehicle in Moreno Valley. The crash happened at 10:20 p.m. at Cactus Avenue and Lasselle Street, Deputy Armando Munoz said.
