PAULDING, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — Paulding County dispatchers confirmed that the search for a missing inmate ended Monday evening after he shot and killed himself. The search was on for 32-year-old Brand Powell after he overpowered a deputy on Saturday. Authorities determined Powell was possibly in the rural area of Antwerp Monday.
