For the eighth year, the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is sponsoring its annual Technology Institute for Corrections. This technology institute, scheduled for September 18th through September 23rd, in Washington, D.C., is designed for corrections managers to learn about and discuss technology initiatives and issues affecting the corrections community. Attendance is limited to 25 mid-level managers from State and local corrections and community corrections agencies who are involved with technology and technology initiatives within their departments. An agency may submit one application for consideration. The application must be completely filled out for the applicant to be considered.
