| State Police: Inmate escapes from SW NM prison |

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A prisoner escaped Monday evening from a detention center in Deming NM, according to a New Mexico State Police spokesman. Officer Carl Christiansen said police were notified around 8 p.m. that Joshua Mirka escaped the Luna County Detention Center. “Mirka should be considered dangerous,” he said. Christiansen said anyone who sees Mirka, or knows where he is, should call police. Mirka was last seen wearing orange pants, orange shirt and black shoes. Read More. |
