| KKK members guilty of plot to murder former inmate |

Two former corrections officers, both members of the Ku Klux Klan, were found guilty of conspiring to murder a former inmate. Florida correction officers David Elliot Moran, 49, and Charles Thomas Newcomb, 45, enlisted an FBI informant to kill a former inmate as retaliation for a fight between the former inmate and fellow corrections officer Thomas Jordan Driver, 27. The plot was recorded between all three men and the FBI informant. All three men worked for the Florida Department of Corrections.
