Fight at Okla. correctional facility injures one |

An inmate at the Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy is hospitalized and the center under lock down after a fight among about 30 inmates. Prison officials say the fight began yesterday morning and assistant warden Mike Bolt says one inmate was taken to a local hospital, then transferred to a Tulsa hospital in stable condition. The inmate's name hasn't been released. The fight is the latest in a series of fights at prisons in the state. A fight on March 22nd at the Cimarron Correctional Facility in Cushing left one inmate dead. Also, two inmates were stabbed during separate fights on March 24th and 25th at the State Penitentiary in McAlester. |
