A grand jury has found no wrongdoing in the death of Terry Flournoy, an inmate who died after going into cardiac arrest at the Lancaster County jail last April.

Terry Flournoy, 54, died of hypertensive heart disease, according to a transcript of the proceedings held earlier this month.

At 5:24 p.m. April 26, police arrested Flournoy for trespassing and on a misdemeanor warrant and took him to the Lancaster County Department of Corrections at 3801 W. O St.

During the intake process, jail staff noticed a bandage on his arm and a cotton ball saturated with blood and learned he recently had a hospital stay, prompting medical staff at the jail to check on him.
