Rawlins – Inmate Benjamin L. Davis died at the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins, Wyoming from an apparent suicide. His body was discovered by Corrections officials on the morning of August 26, 2017. Davis, a Colorado inmate, was serving his sentence in Wyoming under an Interstate Corrections Compact Agreement which allows inmates to be transferred between states. As per departmental policy an autopsy has been ordered.
