| Inmate's Flight To Freedom Short Lived |

Deputies say a Montgomery County, Ohio, Jail inmate working in a work crew of non-violent offenders on Ontario Avenue walked away from his work detail Thursday afternoon. Deputies say the 19-year-old inmate fled the work detail on foot. Investigators say additional officers,including a K-9 unit, were called to the scene but the inmate was not immediately located. Then, several hours later, deputies say they received a call from someone who said they had spotted him in the area of Wagner Ford Road and Susannah Avenue. The inmate was taken into custody without resistance. The incident remains under investigation and deputies will be meeting with the prosecutor's office about additional charges against him. |
