| Two receive minor injuries in Norton Correctional Facility disturbance |

Two staff members at the Norton Correctional Facility were injured during a disturbance late Tuesday. Samir Arif, Director of Public Affairs for the Kansas Department of Corrections, said the injuries were minor and didn’t require medical attention. He said in a news release that an inmate disturbance began at around 9:30 p.m. Local law enforcement and the Norton Fire Department responded. Read More. |
