| Prison escapee captured in Liberty |

LIBERTY — An escapee from the Indiana Department of Corrections found himself back in the custody of law enforcement after being captured at a Union County motel. The Indiana State Police announced late Tuesday that 59-year-old Vonny Dean Craw of Logansport, who had escaped from a work release program in Cass County in August, was arrested Tuesday night at the Liberty Motel in Liberty, after authorities including the Indiana State Police SWAT team and United States Marshals served a warrant at the motel.
