Authorities are investigating the death of an inmate at the city jail in Roanoke, Virginia. The Roanoke Times reported Sunday that Joshua Matthew Jones was found hanging from a bed sheet in his cell on Saturday night. The 35-year-old was unresponsive. The discovery was made about 9:55 p.m. during a routine security check. He was pronounced dead about 40 minutes later after CPR and other life-saving measures failed. Read More. |
