| CCI inmate death investigated |

Columbia Correctional Institution and the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the death of an inmate early Wednesday morning. First responders were called to the maximum security prison around 4 a.m. where Calvin Cantrell, 57, was unresponsive, reportedly believed to have hanged himself.
