NEW YORK (WSYR-TV) - Joyce Mitchell, the woman who helped Richard Matt and David Sweat escape from Clinton Correctional Facility in June 2015, was denied parole for the second time on Friday. The Plattsburgh Press Republican reported on Sunday Mitchell’s next parole hearing will be held in June 2019. In September 2015, Mitchell plead guilty to first-degree promoting prison contraband, and fourth-degree criminal facilitation. Read More. |
