Harnett County officials took their turn searching for an escaped prisoner this morning, after an inmate walked off a work crew near Lillington. Michael Clark, 51, reportedly walked away from work detail near the Harnett Correctional Institution between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Thursday. Mr. Clark was an inmate in Lee County, at the Sanford Correctional Center. He was working in Harnett County on work detail at the time of the escape. He is described as approximately 5-foot-10 inches tall, weighing approximately 160 pounds. He has gray hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a gray shirt with green pants. Read More. |
