| More than 1,700 inmates return to prison in Savannah after storm |

A total of 1,701 inmates returned to Coastal State Prison in Savannah, Ga., Thursday. According to a story on the website of the Georgia Department of Corrections, those prisoners had been evacuated to other facilities across Georgia for safety from Hurricane Irma.
