Chadwell believed to no longer be in the area A Franklin County man who escaped custody in Oldham County is no longer believed to be in the area, according to Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton. Michael Ray Chadwell Jr., 35, was a state inmate serving a sentence for a 2014 robbery when he walked away from work detail on Aug. 3 and later agreed to surrender near Edgewood Drive after the sheriff’s department contacted him through a person close to him.
