| Oregon Department of Corrections inmate died unexpectedly |

PENDLETON, Ore. – The Oregon Department of Corrections says an inmate died unexpectedly Sunday evening at the Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution in Pendleton. The Oregon State Police Criminal Investigation Division is investigating how David Kirby, 38, died. The department of corrections says Kirby was found unresponsive in his housing unit at 8:25 p.m. Medics responded and tried to save him, but Kirby was pronounced dead at 9:14 p.m. Read More. |
